GENERAL SUMMARY:

Direct Sales Responsibility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

Physical Activities:

This is an office-based role, however from time to time you will be required to attend trade shows, training courses, away days and team meetings, company customer facing events.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

Experience of convincing SME business owners to invest in new or replacement technology with order values of £20,000 per deal

Demonstrable track record of meet & exceeding targets.

Trained in use of needs analysis (business case & ROI based), IT or Telecoms solutions sales.

Strong negotiation skills, to defend margin erosion.

Logical approach to problem solving

Previous experience in the Veterinary profession is ideal, but not essential.

Education:

Good general education, preferably degree level

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload

Determined but flexible approach

Excellent organisational skills.

Proven attention to detail and accuracy essential.

High levels of personal motivation.

Exude a team ethos, whilst operating as an individual.

Ability to build long lasting relationships with customers and suppliers

Knowledge of the healthcare market, particularly veterinary would be preferred but not essential.

Working knowledge of Office 365

Knowledge of RxWorks and/or Robovet veterinary software preferred, but not essential.
